A Ghoulish Display of Macabre Maine Despite the Rain

Yeah it rained last year too. A few drops didn't get in the way of this gloriously grotesque choreography last night either. For the 5th year, zombies from Avant Dance and Event Center invaded the Portland peninsula. During rush hour yesterday, dozens of local dancers busted out wicked sick moves recreating Michael Jackson's historic 1983 video. It was the annual Thriller Throwdown back again to get us in the spirit of Halloween! The thrillah chillah flash mob brought the hip-swinging and flesh-rotting fun to Congress Square  for the first time. In previous years, the fear has been struck on Monument Square.
