For the second straight night the Boston Bruins could not beat a team they needed to beat. Whispers of another late season collapse are everywhere.

The Bruins lost to Ottawa 3-2 last night and that makes three straight losses.

The B's outshot the Senators 36-22 but could not finish plays.

David Krejci and Tory Krug scored powerplay goals for Boston but in the end, a goal by Ottawa's Kyle Turris scored a third period goal that was the difference maker.

The Bruins are 38-29-6 with the Tampa Lightning and NY Islanders next on the schedule. Both teams are breathing down the Bruins neck for a playoff spot.
