Another Reason to Love Maine Summers, Outdoor Showers!

I can't remember the last time that I took an outdoor shower, but this summer two of my friends have them and my life has been forever changed. It is so different to shower outside! I feel the sun above me and the warm water from the shower, but also the ocean breeze across my skin. Amazing! I'll admit that it took me a minute to not feel shy, or anxious that someone would somehow see me in such a vulnerable way, literally naked! But there is something about the absence of a ceiling that is almost metaphorical in it's affect on me. I'm digging the outdoor shower!
