Bangor Color Run Scam,Beware!

The Color Run held in Bangor last week was a valid, and very successful event, but Bangor police are asking you to stay alert to scams that are riding its coat tails. There is an event floating around called "Color 5 Mile" and the Bangor Police Department says that there are no permits in place for an event with that name. The B.B.B. is also putting out a warning to runners about "Color in Motion" and "Run or Dye" because of questionable charitable giving and a history of canceling or rescheduling races without refunding it's entrance fees. "Color in  Motion" has a run scheduled in Portland for August of 2017.
