Beloved Maine Warden Service K-9 “Koda” Laid To Rest

The Maine Warden Service lost one of their beloved K-9's this week. K-9 Koda served Maine for 11 years. He partnered with Game Warden Paul Farrington in Northern Penobscot County. Koda retired from service in 2016 but was still with Paul Farrington and his family. Our condolences and heartfelt thanks go out to Paul.

These two had amazing adventures together. From locating evidence to searching for lost people in the Maine woods. In fact, Paul and Koda found over 10 lost people during his service. Often in treacherous weather.

This team won the K-9 Conservation Case of the year several times. Maine Warden Service K9 Koda: 2005 - 2018
