Meet Blimpster Harry Neales from Westbrook. You may have heard Harry on BLM over the years calling in live from a Navy patrol boat in the Persian Gulf...or an Army Base in Afghanistan.  Let’s just say that Harry has been on the road a lot these past 29 years or so serving his country. He’s kind of our adopted hero here on the Blimp Morning Show. Harry has been home for awhile but is still serving…and running it seems…for his country. On April 21st Harry will be running the 2014 Boston Marathon in memory of CPL Mark Goyet.

CPL Mark Goyet was a 22 year old Marine that on June 28th, 2011 was killed in action from gunshot wounds while engaged in a battle with the enemy in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. CPL Goyet was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment,(Regimental Combat Team-8, III Marine Expeditionary Force FWD), 1st Marine Division based in 29 Palms, California. Mark's parents Martha and Ray Goyet are originally from Westbrook, Maine and currently live in Virginia where Ray is stationed as a US Navy Captain.

The Boston Marathon is going to be very special this year. Even if you are not running or know someone who’s running the race, YOU can still be a part of it by supporting Harry’s Run For The Fallen. He’s trying to raise $7500 and he’s halfway there. All the money raised goes to help the families of our fallen heroes with general assistance and scholarships. Let’s help Harry every step of the way…for Boston Strong. For America Strong.
