They dug themselves an early hole but managed to climb out. However the Boston Bruins took another loss on Garden ice falling to the Edmonton Oilers in overtime 3-2.

It only took :41 seconds for Edmonton to get the win in the overtime period when Andrej Sekera took a rebound left in front of the net by Jonas Gustavsson and fired it past him for the game winner.

After allowing two first period goals Boston started their comeback when Matt Beleskey scored his 4th goal of the season in the second period to cut the lead in half.

With time running out in the final period Brad Marchand took a pass from Landon Ferraro and put it into the right side of the net to tie the game at 2 goals apiece.

The Bruins controlled play for much of the game and outshot the Oilers 49-24. Boston has its 2-game win streak snapped with the loss and will wrap-up their three game home stand Wednesday against the Penguins.
