It proved to be their toughest test of the season, but in the end the New England Patriots came away with a 34-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship rematch.

The win improves the Pats record to 5-0, something they have done four times in franchise history and the third time in the Belichick Brady era.

Tom Brady completed 23 passes for 312 yards and 3 touchdowns to 3 different receivers. Julian Edelman had the first touchdown catch before Rob Gronkowski and LaGarrette Blount each got one of their own. The Colts held both Gronk and Edelman in-check with each getting 50 yards in the game. Danny Amendola led all receivers with 7 catches for 109 yards.

Blount not only caught a touchdown pass but also rushed for 93 yards and a score. His 38 yard touchdown run in the second quarter game the Pats a brief lead. His 11 yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach.

The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Pats as they return home for a Sunday match-up with divisional rival New York Jets. With their win over the Redskins, the Jets are now 4-1 on the season.
