Tom Brady returned to practice at Foxboro for the first time since injuring his hand before last Thursday’s pre-season game against the Chicago Bears and addressed the media.

Brady was scheduled to start the contest for the Patriots, but sliced his thumb open trying to remove something from the bottom of his cleat.  He would leave the facility and was then excused from practices on Sunday and Monday for a personal reason.

The Pats’ QB said that he may have said an expletive when he cut his hand, but he wants to play in the pre-season contest on Friday against the Panthers.

New England will travel down to North Carolina this week for the game and you can hear all the coverage starting with the pre-game show at 4:30 p.m. on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
