The Boston Bruins welcomed back both David Pastrnak and Frank Vatrano from the injured list Friday night. The two young players seemed to inject some energy into the team as the B's beat the Florida Panthers 3-1.

In fact, Vatrano scored the first goal of the game. It was his first game of the year as he works his way back from foot surgery. Pastrnak returned from elbow surgery.

Patrice Bergeron scored a powerplay goal and David Backes finished things with an empty netter.

Tuukka Rask made 29 saves.

The B's are 18-14-3.
