The Boston Bruins have kept free agent-to-be Loui Eriksson and his 23 goals. The NHL trade passed with no trade of Eriksson but the B's did make to minor moves.

The Bruins acquired defenseman John-Michael Liles from the Carolina Hurricanes in exhange for a minor leaguer and two draft picks. Liles is an 11-year veteran. He has six goals and nine assists in 64 games for Carolina.

The B's also acquired forward Lee Stempniak from the New Jersey Devils. He had 16 goals and 25 assists in 63 games for NJ.
