I'm back at Gritty's in Auburn this Friday for another live broadcast of the WBLM Afternoon Express! We love coming back to our roots and sharing memories with area Blimpsters who have been with us since the beginning. Of course the biggest 'remember when' stories are all the great concerts that came to Lewiston/Auburn back in the day.
Considering the pure dominance Kentucky has shown this season we to wonder if this team can be beaten at all. Now 34-0, Kentucky looks to finish its epic season with a run through the NCAA Tournament and a historic 40-0 record.

This week's GFAC 207 podcast is up! Kris Rodgers is my in-studio guest and we'll talk about his new CD "Headlines". Also new music from Murcielago, Micromasse, Rustic Overtones, Skosh, Spencer Albee and more
45 years ago today, the Doors played the first of four shows in New York City at the Felt Forum. These historic concerts were recorded and later used (along with other shows from that year) for their first live release in the summer of 1970, Absolutely Live.
41 years ago today, Eric Clapton returned to the stage at the Rainbow Theatre in London. Organized by Pete Townshend, it was his first concert appearance since George Harrison's Concert for Bangla-Desh in 1971.
On this week's show I talk with The Band Apollo about their new CD "Soldier Or A Spy". Plus new music from Zach Jones, Rustic Overtones, The Kopterz, Clara Junken, Murcielago, Kris Rodgers and lots more!
I've seen a lot of "Je Suis Charlie" on social media in response to the terrible terrorist attack at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in France this week. I think we are especially affected here in New England because the parallels of this story remind us how we felt after the Boston Marathon bombings.
Over the weekend my buddy Peter who lives in NYC sent me a Facebook message about an album release party for AC/DC's Rock or Bust! That would be an amazing bash to attend but it's tomorrow and that's definitely not enough time for me to put together a trip to the Big Apple. Maybe you can though.
