The Boston Celtics beat Rajon Rondo and the Sacramento Kings 114-97 in a game played down in Mexico City last night. The duel between Rondo and Isaiah Thomas was actually no duel at all.

Thomas led the C's with 21 points and 9 assists. Rondo was kicked out of the game with a double-technical in the third quarter, scoring just 5 points.

The Celtics balanced scoring and their defense forcing turnovers wore down the Kings. Along with Thomas, Kelly Olynyk scored 21, Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley scored 20 each. The C's forced 19 Sacramento turnovers.

Boston has won 4 of their last five games and at 11-8 the C's are a half game out of first place in their division.

In the long, storied history of the Celtics, this was the first time the team had ever played in Mexico City.
