Check Out This Cool Drone Video of Ships Wrecked by Legendary Pirate in Portland Harbor

The Tall Ships are back in Portland this weekend! They arrive on Friday morning and public tours are happening on Saturday and Sunday. In honor of their majestic visit, our friends at Yesah Digital have created a video telling the story of some historic shipwrecks in Casco Bay. According to captions in this beautifully shot aerial footage 299 years ago in the summer of 1718, a fleet of Navy ships was plundered and blown-up. Not just by any pirate, but by the infamous Brit, Blackbeard and his crew. Arrrrrggghhh!!!
