Brett Groh

I am a first generation broadcaster originally from the small town of Durham, Maine. Strangely, I’ve never tipped a cow, but I always tip wait staff -- 20 percent usually because I make the big radio bucks. I attended the University of Maine too many years ago to remember. That is where I was bit by the radio bug. Although it stung a little, I liked it, and I decided to try and make a career out of it. I figured the world had enough doctors and lawyers anyway

The Captain

I must be the luckiest guy in the world to be able to captain one of the greatest rock stations in the USA! I’ve been on the Blimp for over 30 years, and no two days have ever been the same. I think that’s what gets me up at the crack of dawn. I call Blimp listeners “friends I’ve never met,” and it’s true. We share a common bond of living in Maine and a passion for Rock and Roll. It’s great to work with so many local charities and businesses as well

Celeste

Guilty pleasure? Glad you asked! There are so many: strawberry Twizzlers with popcorn and a glass of La Crema chardonnay while watching a Hallmark channel Christmas movie, Duran Duran, Bonne Belle creamsicle lip gloss, Etsy, Christmas shopping for myself at the Boothbay Harbor early bird sale, infomercials, "as seen on T.V." products, buying myself fresh flowers, and letting other people drive-to name just a few. I hate to drive, it's a pleasure to have someone else do it, but I also feel guilty

Chris Robertson

Chris has been grooving with WBLM since the early dayzzz... A Native New Englander who grew up in Steep Falls and began playing 45's out his window soon enough. "I have always collected music and pushed the record button whenever possible on my favorite tape machine, more reverb and gain! If it snowed there was football, if not you hoped for the King Biscuit Flour Hour or something Hendrix." An audiophile graduate working in the music business for as long as he can remember

Dom

I was born and raised in the most northern town in Maine, the french-speaking, hard-working mill town of Madawaska. A longtime musician and songwriter, I moved to Portland after high school in search of musical opportunities founding the band Dominic and The Lucid with fellow northern Maine transplants. Joining the WBLM team in 2003, I began my tenure as Night Flight DJ shortly after. My current musical endeavor is ShaShaSha, which can be heard at www

Zach Martin

Hi, I’m Zach Martin, and I am proud to be your host for Ultimate Classic Rock. I’m married with one teenage daughter and reside in North New Jersey. Hobbies other than rocking the airways…I don't enjoy the outdoors or horseback riding. However I do love Classic Rock, NASCAR, New Country, Oldies and Mozart. Mozart is supposedly good for the brain, but so far, it hasn't helped. I am a New York Giants fan - go Giants! I graduated from St

Tommy C.

"Hi-de-ho!!!" to all you hep-kats 'n' kittens out there in Blimpville, Tommy C. here, and thanks for keeping me employed on the late-morning/lunch hour shift for the last (over) 30 years?!?! Apparently, that's true, but I'm still trying to get it right (well, one of these days). When I'm not flying in the cockpit, it's the same ol' same ol': either watching the Patriots, Food Network, or 1950s sci-fi flicks on TCM, and if there's nuthin' on the tee-wee, I highly recommend "Mojo" magazine or an original paperback copy of any James Bond thriller by Ian Fleming (published back in the day by Signet for 50 cents each!)

The Guru

On February 23, 1967, across the Great Pond at Abbey Road Studios, The Beatles were recording "Lovely Rita" for Sgt. Pepper... Meanwhile, at The Augusta General Hospital, Brian James let out his first cry to world. 20 years later in the summer of '87, Brian played "Lovely Rita" on the radio station he grew up with, WBLM. Taking over the Night Flight for the Captain, who moved to host The WBLM Morning Show, a teenage dream was realized. Brian "The Guru" James is a dyed-in-wool Mainah
