Maine's connection to the Stanley Cup Final is Biddeford's Brian Dumoulin, now a steady defenseman for the Pittsburgh Penquins.

In the Pens march through the playoffs the 24-year-old has a goal and six assists. He averages over 20 minutes of ice time each game. Dumoulin has played in all 18 Pens playoff games.

The Stanley Cup Final vs San Jose begins Monday night.

Back in 2007 and 2008 Dumoulin led Biddeford HS to state titles in Class A. He went on to play with the New Hampshire Monarchs and then the Boston College Eagles where he won two NCAA titles before turning pro.
