Eddie Van Halen was interviewed last week on What It Means To Be American  in front of a standing room only crowd at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. He was open and enthusiastic, sharing his incredible experience of growing up in a immigrant family and becoming a rock legend. The coolest point of the interview came when Eddie strapped on a guitar, plugged in, and explained how and when he discovered how to do his tapping technique.
