Apple uploaded the new U2 album, "Songs of Innocence" automatically to iTunes subscribers.

Free music! Hurray! Well, not everyone is cheering. Some are swearing. There are people that are upset that the album was foisted onto them and that it's taking up precious memory in their phone. Here's a great article about it.

I found this very early and humbling U2 video. It's their first T.V. appearance on "The Late Late Show" sometime in 1980. They look like a cross between The Rolling Stones and The Banana Splits.

Watch it if you wish. It's completely up to you. It won't play automatically, but here's some music for you. It's free too...but completely your decision to watch...

Personally, I hope these uploads don't become a trend. I would love to have the option for free music if it's offered, but if they start clogging up my account with music that I don't want and can't delete, I'll be very angry. iTunes is about me choosing my own music!

Does Bono look strange to me because he's not wearing sunglasses?...
