In Northern Maine, if you go deep into the woods you can see old locomotives that have been there for like a hundred years.  Early in the 20th century, these 'ghost trains' played an important part in Maine's logging industry. When the Great Depression came, the logging industry suffered and they stopped operation. The locomotives have stayed right there ever since. Our friends at Yesah Digital created a great video of these ancient trains rusting in the silence of the forest. We could brave a rough ride on dirt roads in the Allagash to finally reach these forgotten relics or if we're not up for the trek, let's just watch.
