Gillette Stadium To Host 2016 Winter Classic

It has been long rumored that the Bruins were trying to get the classic played at the home of the New England Patriots, and several media reports our of Boston say it will happen on January 1, 2016. Joe McDonald of ESPNBoston.com has confirmed the the NHL's plans. The league will not make the official announcement until the All-Star game this weekend in Columbus.
