Holiday Decorating Injuries Go Up, As We Continue to Fall!

This is a picture of my real husband's leg in a real air cast. Nothing ruins a cute holiday outfit quicker than a sling, cast or an eye patch- though they are considered chic in some circles... Don't get decked while decking the halls! Holiday decorating injuries have been going up every year since 2009, last year there were 15,000 people visiting emergency rooms while trying to get into the holiday spirit. One out of three were from falls, 11% were from cuts and 10% threw out their backs. Falling off a roof is only funny if your Chevy Chase. My solution to this problem is to only decorate from the waist down. By the way, those lights really didn't work. Friggin' lights...
