We've teamed up with the great folks at SIS Bank for the Touchdowns for Good program to help non-profits here in Maine. For every touchdown our New England team makes, SIS Bank will donate $50 dollars to a Maine charity.

Honor Flight Maine is a recipient of the Touchdowns for Good program and we want you to know a bit more about what they do, so that you can follow the generous example of SIS Bank and support them if you can.

Honor Flight Maine is all about honoring our combat veterans and showing our gratitude by transporting them to Washington D.C. to view and experience their memorials. Front of the line is reserved for our most frail and terminally ill veterans. Approximately 600 WWII vets die every day, according to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. There is an urgency to show appreciation to our most senior heroes.

You can support Honor Flight Maine by making a donation or becoming a guardian. A guardian accompanies vets on their trip to provide safety and security- helping with wheelchairs, using stairs, handling equipment and other physical tasks.

Please reach out to Honor Flight Maine for more information, and thank you to SIS Bank for setting a wonderful example of generosity and care.

To all of our veterans, we owe you.
