Hostile Man Terrorizes Workers at Sisters Deli [NSFW]

A very upsetting and potentially dangerous situation occurred over the weekend at Sisters Gourmet Deli, our neighbors on Monument Square. They're asking City of Portland officials to find a solution.

According to their Facebook page,

A man, clearly under the influence and likely battling mental health issues, entered the Deli and put MY GIRLS in danger. I can't accept that this is normal, I can't tell my girls that sometimes this happens. Note: After calling 911, emergency services arrived 10 minutes later.

Unsafe behavior is an increasing problem in downtown Portland. There appears to be more and more lost souls loitering on Monument Square. We see it daily looking out the windows of the studio at One City Center. Sisters is a place many of us here at the Blimp get lunch from pretty regularly and we are very disturbed to learn that they experienced this frightening verbal assault. Their calm and bravery during the incident is inspiring. We support you and truly wish for things to improve.
