Despite an injury, former Maine Black Bear Ben Bishop played in game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. That injury kept him out of game 4 which was won by Chicago 2-1.With the game tied at a goal apiece in the third period, Brandon Saad scored the game winner with 13:38 to play in the game. Saad beat Tampa Bay goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy who was playing for Bishop. The 20 year old stopped 17 shots in the game and only saw 2 shots the entire first period.

The series is now tied 2-2 with game 5 Saturday in Tampa. After the game Lightning coach Jon Cooper was asked about Bishop not playing and said he expects him to play again in the series.
