Kevin Faulk Enters Patriots HOF [VIDEO]

The New England Patriots honored longtime running back Kevin Faulk as a member of the 2016 Class on Monday afternoon.

Faulk played 13 seasons from 1999-2011 for New England and logged 31 touchdowns.  He also notched 12,349 all-purpose yards and was a big part of three Super Bowl winning teams during the 2001, '03, and '04 seasons.

"Kevin Faulk helped deliver three Super Bowl championships and redefined the way an entire generation of Patriots fans celebrated football in New England," said Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft in a written statement on Patriots.com. "Despite entering the NFL as the second-leading rusher in SEC history, he arrived in New England without ego or pretense. He was a selfless and tireless contributor to the team, accepting every challenge and excelling in many roles throughout his 13-year career. His work ethic, enthusiasm for the game and clutch performances, especially on third down, earned him the respect of his coaches, teammates and fans alike."

Faulk recently made waves and excited New England fans when he donned a Tom Brady jersey at the 2016 NFL Draft and was honored as Tom Brady returned the favor and wore Faulk's 33 at the ceremony

The running back joins Willie McGinest, Houston Antwine, Ty Law, Teddy Bruschi, and Gil Santos as recent Hall of Famers for New England.  The induction ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at the NRG Plaza next to the Patriots Pro Shop and the event is free to the public.
