Latest Sox Homestand Raises More Money for Home Runs For Good

The Sox are almost to the All-Star break and as of this writing, are in 1st place and 30 games over .500. This means lots of money for a worthy cause because this year we've teamed up with Saco & Biddeford Savings for Home Runs for Good. Every Fenway home run means $50 to Maine school food and nutrition programs. This last Homestand really added to our total!

The Sox have hit 42 homers at Fenway since we started Home Runs for Good. That’s $2,100 so far for to local school nutrition programs, to help eliminate food insecurity among students. That's a good chunk of change for a really important cause. In Maine, over 47% of students going to school are eligible for free or reduced lunch. This gives us an even bigger reason to cheer whenever our boys are at bat!
