If you aren't feelin' the holiday joy yet, this sweet performance of Blue Christmas will melt the heart of any bah-humbuggin' grinch around.

Kate Beever is a music therapist at Maine Music and Health. She works with clients in the Portland area helping them improve through the healing power of song. She touches many lives with her important work. Watch this video and you'll be touched as well.

Kate tells us more about Eugene, the man singing with her: "This video came because I said we should film that song to send to his family, who he misses. And because the music community in Portland just lost a wonderful friend, so I thought it might cheer people up. It's a client of mine, who had a brain injury from an accident – when I started working with him he hadn't been talking for a few years at least, but he seems to love music – so I started following his singing and trying to interpret it, I know he sings all the time and uses full sentences. Still working on speech. He's also had improved quality of life, just more happy and positive – and is now eating food again, where as before because he wasn't using his mouth muscles, he was only able to do liquids. It's a great success story!"
