low battery

I legit panic when my cell phone battery gets low. It's not my primary method of communication, but I'm completely dependent on it for my G.P.S. and alarms that I set for all of my girls' activities.

According to a new survey, I am not alone!

  • 35% of us have taken a stranger's charger without permission. Hey, that's stealing!
  • 32% have left somewhere to go plug into their phone charger.
  • 33% have skipped the gym to charge their low battery.
  • 39% have asked a complete stranger if they could borrow their charger.
  • 22% have ordered something to eat at a restaurant or bar just to charge up.
  • 23% have landed in an argument with their S.O. because they stopped responding to texts to conserve phone battery.

Here's how to prolong your cell phone battery:

  • Dim your screen brightness or use auto brightness
  • Turn off bluetooth
  • Turn off Wi-Fi, except if you need your G.P.S.
  • Cut back on location services
  • Keep the screen timeout short
  • Don't use vibrate
  • Turn off the notifications that you don't really need
  • Don't leave apps running in the background

I just closed 5 open apps!
