Mainers Helping Mainers on Saturday

A generous Hallowell volunteer firefighter named Jesse Tozier is volunteering again. He will donate one of his kidneys to his friend, 'Superman' Scott Baker in July.

To celebrate this super selfless act of love and raise money, there was a Superhero 5k earlier this month in Hallowell.

This weekend, it's time to have some more fun with another fundraiser to benefit this great cause. Come show your support tomorrow, June 30 from 2p-5p at the Quarry Tap Room along the shore of the mighty Kennebec and wear green for organ donor awareness.

There will be a silent and live auction, a 50/50 raffle. Maine's legendary band, The Boneheads will bring the wicked jams!
