The 8th annual Maine's Got Talent to benefit Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services is March 9th and here's how you can audition!

Today's auditions at Empire in Portland have been cancelled and rescheduled because of the storm :(

You can also send in a video audition by January 25th to sandcastlemaine.org.

Open auditions are being held for singers, bands and musicians of all kinds on February 2nd from 1 to 4 pm at Empire Live Music & Events on Congress St. in Portland. Audition for a chance to be chosen as one of ten performers to take the stage at Maine's Got Talent, a dynamic musical competition and fundraiser with cash prizes. Auditions will be first come, first served. Bands, please bring a light set-up. Vocalists, please bring your soundtrack. This is a live audition. Video auditions may also be submitted and must be received no later than January 25 at 4pm.

Auditions are open to all performing artists who live or work in Maine, including out-of-state students attending Maine schools. Must be 16 years old or older. If selected, mandatory attendance required at Feb. 9, 2019, informational meeting and soundcheck/live event on March 9, 2019, in Lewiston, Maine.

About Maine's Got Talent
On the day of the event, each musician performs and is judged on a scale of 1 to 10 from three local celebrity judges, with half of their score being decided by the audience in a final applause.

1st place: $750
2nd place: $500
3rd place: $250

This incredible event is an annual fundraiser for Sandcastle Clinical & Educational Services, which provides a full range of clinical and educational services to individuals of all ages and abilities, and L A Hearing Center.

There will be two more auditions held:

Jan 26 & 27, 2019 from 1pm to 4pm at L/A Community Little Theatre.
