Bangor's Emily Kagan suffered her second loss as a UFC fighter on Thursday night by way of a submission to Kailin Curran in the second round. It was a contrast in styles as Kagan is known as a puncher while Curran relies on grappling which ultimately was the difference.

Both fighters traded blows in the first round with Kagan holding an advantage in nearly all statistical categories especially when it comes to punches landed and accuracy.

In the second round Curran was able to lock in a rear naked choke hold which resulted in Kagan submitting 4:13 seconds into the round.
