Whenever we cross the bridge that takes us into Kittery, there's always a sigh of relief that we are back on safe ground. After venturing away, crossing the border of New Hampshire and Maine with BLM comin' in strong you know you are home again.

We love our state for so many reasons from the natural beauty and rich history, to friendly locals of the finest kind. We also love it because overall we think we're pretty much free from harm around here.

Now there's a new list of Maine's safest cities that substantiates that snug feeling in our neighborhoods.
