The Boston Red Sox let one get away as the Chicago White Sox used a 3-run 7th inning to beat Wade Miley and Boston 5-4.Boston grabbed a 2-run lead in the top of the 6th inning on rbi hits by Pablo Sandoval and Travis Shaw. That lead seemed solid with Miley pitching a good game and keeping the White Sox hitters in check.

It came apart for Miley in the 7th inning as Melky Cabrera singled to tie the game before Trayce Thompson  roped a double to left field scoring 2 runs that put Chicago in the lead.

Miley took his 10th loss of the season after allowing all 5 runs on 13 hits.

Boston will try to win the series tonight when Rick Porcello returns to take the mound.
