Mötley Crüe Rocks Maine One Last Time [VIDEO]
Mötley Crüe played their last ever show in Maine and on the East Coast at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Sunday Rocktober 18. After over 30 years and over 100 million records sold all over the planet, the heavy metal superstars are saying goodbye. They played their first Maine concert opening for Ozzy Osbourne on January 10, 1984 at the Civic Center in Portland.
Maine fans were surprised to hear the rarely played live, Smokin' In the Boys Room as it hasn't been part of their setlist in many. The crowd loved every minute of around one and half hour set with Vince Neil on lead vocals, Nikki Sixx on bass, Mick Mars on guitar, and Glen Sobel from opener, Alice Cooper's band on drums.
Tommy Lee who was sidelined last week due to an injury, did make an appearance onstage to say "F*ck tendonitis!" and he played piano for Home Sweet Home.
