NESN's Tom Caron joined us today on the Blimp today and we didn't talk Red Sox! No, today we spent the entire segment on the great news we received yesterday that professional hockey was coming back to Portland. Before Tom was the #1 Sportscaster in New England, he was employee #4 for the fledgling Portland Pirates. Tom was there for year ONE-the the only year by the way that the Pirates ever won the Calder Cup. So Tom knows a thing or two about what it takes to build a successful franchise in Portland.
