According to the Lewiston Sun Journal, a book about the 2015 Lewiston High School boys soccer team has been optioned by Netflix and may become a movie. "One Goal" , written by Amy Bass, is about the 2015 team that was made up of local kids and somali refugees. The team became the most powerful in Maine, winning Lewiston's first State Championship.

The bigger story is how the Somali refugee community integrated into one of the whitest states in America, and how that positively affected the community. The book has been featured in Sports Illustrated and on the NBC "Today Show".

The Lewiston Boys Soccer Team also won the 2017 State Championship.
