Peter Wolf Calls Us On the Wise-Cracker Line [AUDIO]

The mighty, mighty J. Geils Band will bring blues-rock at its best back to Blimpville next week! Peter Wolf, Magic Dick, Seth Justman, and Danny Klein are bringing the Houseparty to the Maine State Pier on Thursday September 3rd just before Labor Day weekend!  WBLM’s history with the J. Geils Band goes back to our roots in the 70s and those legendary New Year’s shows year after year at the Civic Center and we are proud to welcome them back!

The still electrifying front-man, Peter Wolf gave us a call the other day. During the chat, he talks about a new album he just finished here in Portland and professes his love for our city by the Bay. He also tells how a song from Love Stinks (that tells the story of a young couple from Portland, Maine) came to be.
