These adorable, bright fairy tale eggplant were my pick this week at the Portland Farmer's Market. I called them zuchinni, but they are eggplant! Facebook me with recipe suggestions.  I've never cooked with them before, here's how it went.

Even though my experience was not a complete win, I will claim, "grill operator error" and try them again. Like a bad boyfriend, they are just too cute to give up on!
