Lewiston will be the latest city in Maine to get a Portland Pie Company location, according to the Sun Journal. The high end pizza place, that a delectable selection of craft pizzas named after locals in Maine, will take over the 1st floor of a vacant fire station on Lincoln Street.

Portland Pie Company is currently putting the finished touches on opening a brand new location in Waterville, their 7th location. Once that location is open and settled, they'll begin working on their Lewiston site, with hopes to be open at some point in the Fall of 2018.

Each Portland Pie location has it's unique quirks, but the pizza chain typically serves several different craft beers from Maine on tap, as well as featuring different happy hour specials throughout the week. The old fire station that will house the new Portland Pie closed in 1996 and was once marked for demolition. The property was saved, and now will host another new restaurant as downtown Lewiston continues to rebuild.
