Get ready for some pot roast along the New England Patriots defensive line. Terrance Knighton and the Pats have agreed on a one year, $4.5 million value deal.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the big 6-foot-3, 354-pound Knighton chose the Patriots over returning to the Washington Redskins.

He played in 15 games for Washington last season and was in on 29 tackles.

The Pats know him well from his days in Denver.

Knighton's nickname 'Pot Roast' is one of the best in the game.

NOTE: The Patriots have also reached a contract extension with safety Patrick Chung. He gets a $2.4 million dollar signing bonus and the teams get another year, now signed through 2018.
