Robot Band Covers B-52s and It’s Genius [VIDEO]

Got any old computer hardware in the basement? Well, you could do some Spring cleaning and bring it to the dump. Or, maybe you could put it together and make music out of it like this guy. His name is James Cochrane and he’s been programming old-school office equipment to make music videos for a few years now. Who knew HP scanners were so melodic? He has also added the same gizmo that Stephen Hawking uses to talk. It does the Fred Schneider parts. His latest masterpiece is a performance of “Private Idaho” by the B-52s and is being used to promote the event “Art Rock Athens” coming in May down in Georgia. Watch what happens. It’s pretty mesmerizing.
