Roofers in Maine Stop Work to Stand for the National Anthem

When the Old Town High School football team was in Waterville to play the Panthers, these roofers nearby stood for the National Anthem.

Michelle Cossar shared this photo on Facebook of the roofers stopping their work when they heard the National Anthem at the nearby football field. They stood with hands over hearts during the anthem before returning to work.

The photo has now gone viral amid the controversy surrounding NFL football players taking a knee during the National Anthem.
