Seattle Team Says Portland, Maine is Better Than Portland, Oregon

The Seattle Sounders are a major league soccer team in the state of Washington. To promote their upcoming match at home on June 30 against the Portland Timbers of Oregon, they put together a charming video love-letter to Portland, Maine for Facebook.

The soccer player in the video (shot right here) shows us all the things about our city that are so much better than that other Portland. He should know. He used to live here, pointing out everything from "lush trees" to "hip donut shops"  to "iconic lighthouses" and much more.

The video attempts to fire up fans in Seattle to love our Portland, "the first and  best Portland" instead of their opponents. This is awesome! Thanks for the love Seattle! Go Sounders!
