At noon weekdays, Tommy C. cuts across Monument Square to see what’s cooking at the Blimp’s Legendary Rock ‘n Roll Diner. There’s always a tasty classic rock menu each day with a different theme
from noon to 1.
...or the diaphragm; probably both, right? Since there's no Rod Stewart getting played today (Blimpsters can p/u Rod's Royalty Checks instead), the diner decided to serve up an hour of other notable British vocalists and awa-a-a-y we go!
Yup! Supertramp's "Breakfast In America" album is, indeed, from 35 years ago! To celebrate, we're not gonna play any of it!Instead, Loyal Listenin' Blimpsters can p/u the bands Royalty Checks, and the diner can dive into some other Classic LP's that are also more than three decades old!!!
...to go along with the grits 'n ham hocks on special today. No Allman Brothers (you get their $1,000 Royalty Checks instead), but that's all right kids, there's plenty of other Dixie-based bands to serve up with our "special sauce", mmm-mmm, good!
