Jackie Bradley Jr. ran his hitting streak to 24 straight games and David Price pitched 7.1 innings of two-run ball as the Boston Red Sox won 5-2 in Kansas City last night. The Sox and Royals split the day-night doubleheader.

JBJ got a hit in his final at bat in game one and homered in his first at bat of game two. The 24 game streak is the longest for the Sox since David Ortiz hit in 27 straight in 2013. He is hitting .407 during the streak.

Mookie Betts also hit a home run and Christin Vazquez had a key bases loaded hit that drove in two runs.

Meanwhile, David Price was excellent for 7.1 innings - two runs, scattered five hits, five strikeouts and just one walk. Price threw 108 pitches.

Craig Kimbrel picked up his 11th save.

The Sox are 25-16 with a day off today and returning to Fenway for a weekend series with Cleveland.
