Even ace Jon Lester couldn't stop the bleeding. The Red Sox lost 7-2 Thursday afternoon at Fenway. That's a three game sweep by the Jays and that's an 0-6 homestand for the Sox.

Lester gave up 7 runs in the first two innings, them settled down. In fact, the Blue Jays never scored another run.

But the Sox offense did very little - Brock Holt was the only player with 2 hits. Xander Bogaerts hit a solo home run.
The Sox drop to 20-26 and head to Tampa Bay for a weekend series with the Rays.
