Wade Miley pitched eight strong innings and Mike Napoli stayed red hot at the plate as the Red Sox finished their series with the LA Angels with a 6-1 win.The Sox take two out of three in the series.

The lefty Miley made his third straight outstanding start. This one was eight innings, just one run on four hits. He walked one and struck out two. Miley used jsut 97 pitches in eight innings of work.

Meanwhile, Mike Napoli continued to swing the big bat. A 2-run homer to put the Sox up early. He added a 2-run double later in the game.

Xander Bogaerts went 4-for-4 and as a team the Sox collected a dozen hits.

With a 21-23 record, the Sox are just 2.5 games out of the lead in the AL East and it's on to Minnesota for a Memorial Day game...
