Going to an NFL game involves so much more than just seeing the game.

A new study of 1,000 NFL fans who've been to at least one game by Vivid Seats sheds some light on just what people do, like and experience when they go to a game in person.

The survey has some interesting findings: more than half cite "the exciting atmosphere" as the best part of going to the game, ahead of being close to the action.

And women are more likely than men to wear their team's colors, as well as tailgate, not to mention wear face and body paint, which means you may get some very interesting looks while they stand in line when they join their fellow fans to spell their team's names on their chests.
