Before we ring in 2016, take a minute to laugh one more time at the funniest Maine Memes of 2015!

Order has finally been restored at my house with the arrival of our new 2015 calendar! Our lives revolve around the kitchen calendar, and without it the last month has been filled with anxiety over possible missed girl scout meetings and orthodontist appointments...

When Back to the Future II came out in 1989, 2015 seemed so far away. Well here we are. No flying cars yet and thankfully no Jaws 19 ("the shark still looks fake") in the movie theaters.

Kohlrabi, beet yogurt, hummus, pistachios, everything smoked, anything fermented, smaller portions and oysters. These are just some of 2015's predicted food trends. Bacon will never really go away, but this year it will take a back burner after being the center of the universe in 2014. When I saw bacon toothpaste I knew we had jumped the culinary shark.
