Botanical Gardens

I've researched the same question thousands of times to find out if any New England cities have ever been used as a set for Christmas movies on Hallmark. I'm shocked they chose this city over Maine towns that have been nationally recognized as some of the "best Hallmark towns".

Sometimes it's nice to step back and smell the roses...literally.

The delightful Botanical Gardens opens on Monday.

The Botanical Gardens in Boothbay are a must see in the warmer months and now we can bundle up for a walking tour that will transport us into a magical winter fantasy world.

Last year Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay introduced a breathtaking holiday light display. It was such a huge hit, it's coming back this season!

Last year I visited the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens on Labor Day weekend, saying goodbye to another great summer in Blimpville. Now I plan on bringing the family to this magical place in Boothbay to welcome summer.  And to make it even sweeter, this  Memorial Day weekend admission is free for Maine residents May 23rd, 24th and 25th!
